Community Projects
EcoSchools Canada Community Social Justice Project
Students from EcoSchools Canada organized a community initiative focused on peace, compassion, and social justice. Their contributions of food, gift cards, toys, and household essentials directly supported The Helping Hippies clients experiencing poverty. Inspired by one student’s idea, the class also worked with Sawmill Sid to build a Peace Pole — internationally recognized symbols of peace installed in over 200,000 locations worldwide.
