A Healing Blanket and fundraiser for Jordan

We offered a healing blanket station for a fundraiser for a 17 year old boy who had a fire in his family home, experiencing life threatening burns. He was allowed out of the hospital to attend the community fundraiser for his family who lost their home. Each person paid to sign the blanket and instead of signing the blanket directly, we had people sign special paper and we ironed the messages on with an iron. There were so many amazing parts of the evening but one of the special moments was when Jordans band members came over and signed the blanket for him and emptied their pockets with the rest of their change for him. Everyone's heart was in the right place and it was an incredible experience to see so many people come together for the benefit of a local family.
